Online course. Level 1.

Guasha have been referred to as folk medicine, in China. Something simple to learn and use, in your own home, without the need of a doctor. Basically, by becoming your own doctor - taking care of your own health when you suffer from fever, cold, cough, migraines, and back pain.

Through this online lectures you’ll learn about Guāshā based on Chinese medicine. Through online lectures you’ll learn the theories behind the method, as well as learning directly from lesson one, how to start scraping for health.

This education gives you a 50-hour education in Guāshā.

THE LECTURES

Each lecture consists of 3 hours of live Zoom lecture. In between each lecture, you will read and practice, to incorporate what you’ve learned, and prepare for the next online session. In between the lectures, you’ll also have the opportunity to engage in discussions and ask questions in a private fb group only for members of the guasha course. You’ll be supported throughout the whole course, so you’ll really understand guasha.

Lecture 1.
Introduction to Chinese medicine and guasha. The five vital substances of life. Sinew channels. How to start scraping for health - facial guasha.

Lecture 2.
How and why we get sick, according to Chinese medicine. Inner and outer causes of disease. The lungs, Wei qi and wind. Guasha for cough and cold.

Lecture 3.
Yang Sheng – nourishment of life tradition. The meaning of preventative medicine and self-care practices. Pain, according to Chinese medicine. Guasha for headache, and neck tension. Stress, and the Liver.

Lecture 4.
Organ and emotional health repetition, going deeper into mental health and the spiritual aspects of Chinese medicine. The Heart and the mind. Guasha for grief work and release.

Lecture 5.
The organ clock. Living in alignment with the rhythms of day and night. Guasha for sleep. The Kidneys.

All Zoom lectures will be recorded. If you can´t join the live sessions, you can watch the recordings afterwards.
